Yarr is a digital station broadcasting under the Sunrise Group DSP licence (DSP006). It broadcasts on the London II Digital multiplex operated by Switchdigital (London) Limited. Under the terms of the licence between Ofcom and Switchdigital (London) Ltd That company is required to provide a service as defined below:
A music-led service targeted at the young Asian generation playing Bollywood, Bhangra, Asian Dance, Rhythm & Blues and Soul with strong emphasis on popular Asian culture incorporating relevant news and local information with 20% speech and 80% music.
